Art graduated from Lennox in the first class , the first Lennox High School class of 1958.  He played football, was in a car club.  I think it was called the Camcrackers. He signed up on the buddy system for the army the next year. He loved working on cars and was in the motor pool. He was stationed in Germany at the same base where Elvis was. I don't know if he ever got to see him. He was very patriotic his whole life. After 911 he wore a flag pin on his shirt from then on. He did keep track of friends from Lennox. He knew people in most of the other classes. He was married to Colleen Taylor (class of '61) and they had two daughters, Lisa and Teri. He had two grandsons. They divorced, remarried and later split up for good over 25 years ago. He remarried not long afterwards and he and his wife, Mary, lived in Westminster and moved to Redding about 10 or 11 years ago. He will be buried at the Veteran's cemetary not far from Redding.
