SHERRIE ANN BUDD

RAPID CITY - Sherrie Ann Budd, 64, Rapid City, died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

She was born October 2, 1941 in Rapid City, SD to Lars 'Dale' and Anna (Meinert) Jensen. She attended Rapid City High School until her family moved to California in 1957 and graduated from Lennox, California, High School in 1959.

She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Budd on December 27, 1960, and they were happily married for 44 years until her death. They lived in the Los Angeles area until 1967, when they moved back home to Rapid City. She was a devoted wife and mother, who lived a life of caring for family, friends, and neighbors.

She leaves her husband, Larry, son Bret and his wife Lois of Rapid City, daughter Brenda Hesla and her fiancee, Kyle Manning, both of Pierre, and three granddaughters to whom she was totally devoted and doting: Jamie, Stephanie, and Julie Budd.

She is also survived by her brothers, Gale Jensen, of Rapid City, Lars Dale Jensen, Jr., of Yorba Linda, CA, and sister Kay Yarberry, of Langley, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the Free Methodist Church, 4813 South Canyon Road, with Pastor Joel Morris, officiating. Interment will follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery.

Memorial will be established.
