Daily Independent newspaper Ridgecrest Ca Kern County JAMES 'JIM' W. MANSON Graveside services were held April 18, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield. Mr. Manson was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Inglewood and had been a resident of Lake Isabella for 24 years. He was a graduate of Long Beach State University. He was a licensed real estate broker and had sold real estate in the Kern River Valley for over 15 years. His family says this about him: "He was involved in his church, he taught real estate and other courses at Cero Coso Community College, he loved to sing and was involved in the barbershop quartet, and he worked with many disabled people in the community while he worked at Kern River Valley ARC as a case manager. "Jim will be greatly missed by all his friends and loved ones. We do know he is no longer with us, but will never be forgotten." Mr. Manson is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sharon Manson of Bodfish; daughters and sons-in-law Lori and David Head of Nome Alaska and Shari and Jared Gingras of Orem, Utah; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Susan Manson of Fresno; daughter Cindy Rose of Baodfish; 14 grandchildrn; sister Sue Keliiheleua of Las Vegas, Nev., mother-in-law Jeanene Ballew of Trona and several nieces and nephews.
