From Lennox it was on to El Camino JC & then to BYU. Graduated from BYU in August 1965 to a draft notice from Uncle Sam. Also got engaged at this time. By passed the draft notice by joining a California Army National Guard Infantry Unit at Walnut Creek, CA. This way I got to go to work for a CPA firm in Oakland, CA, got married in 1966 and a month later reported to Fort Ord. In 1972 moved to Carmichael, CA(suburb of Sacramento), survived and retired to Cool, CA in the Sierra foothills. [7/17/12] ***** Married since 1966 with 8 grand children. Retired from accounting career in 1998. Play tennis and snow ski every season. 4 way bypass in April 2005 and currently living in Cool CA. [11/05/07] ***** Been in N. Calif since 1965. Married since 1966 with 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. Retired from accounting career in 1998. [1/16/02] |
