Hello, my name is Rich Senner, I am Dave Ehrlich's nephew. I am posting from Dave's Facebook account to let his friends know that Dave passed away in his sleep the morning of April 23, 2019.
Memorial services will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.@ Baycities Community Church located at 4915 Emerald Street, Torrance, CA 90503, please let me know if you can attend.

Let me see if I can remember all that way back. After Lennox, it was off to El Camino College for many years. Finally, off to CalStateLong Beach for many years and a teaching credential. Then, the Navy called. They said you will be in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for two years in the signal tower directing ships in and out of the harbor. They said you will work three and one half days a week. Tough times. Then I was hired for another job part time, in addition to my military duties, checking people in and out of a locker room. Then I left that job and became the assistant editor of the recreational manual for the Naval station. Vacation came and a friend and I flew to Australia and New Zealand. Upon my return,I went swimming and almost drown (I had forgotten that I don't swim well). Finally, the Navy gave me a break and sent me home. Tough duty. Back to civilian life and teaching. I subbed for a year in Los Angeles and it was more dangerous than my military career. Finally, a job teaching in the city of Inglewood, at a junior high and high school. Then once more into the valley of death: real estate. Some good years, but the last years ended in bankruptcy and ended my full time real estate career. Back into teaching. A divorce. A beautiful daughter. A gorgeous granddaughter. And now teaching until I can retire at 99 years old or so. God is good. God bless all of you.      [8/18/10]
