Tony passed away January 24, 2018. 
It is with a heavy heart that i tell you that Anthony Cardaropoli, LHS class of 1962, passed away this morning. It sounds like it was complications from the flu and diabetes, i gathered from the last few facebook posts from Tony. Many of us will miss his spirited and informative posts, and personally, i will miss seeing him at our formal and informal reunions. R.I.P. dear Tony.

After graduating from Lennox in '62. I joined the navy for 7 1/4 years. Spent the better part of 1966 and 1968 in and around Vietnam. Got out of the canoe club in '70 and tried out college for a few years. Work full time for a small air freight company from 1970-73 (till they went out of business). In 1973, I began my current employment at Airborne Express and 28 years later I'm still with them. I married my college sweatheart in July of 1973.....One child, Melyssa (now 23) born in 1977.....Divorced in 1982. Got tired of the rat race in L.A. and moved to Palmdale in 1992 (three weeks after double by-pass heart surgery).... I made the 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th and 35th reunion. Missed the combo one last time. Debating about the one in August. Am holding out for the big 40 next year. Current interests include computers and anything on the net......Running a 933 Compaq 7000 TL with 512mb of ram.......Have been heavy in photography since 1966.....Purchased the ultimate in cameras last November with my Digital Sony DSC S-70 still/video camera. I taken over 5,000 pictures with this little metal box that only looks like a toy. It does more than all my other eight cameras combined.....If anyone needs proof, just ask..... Still a fan of Rock 'N' Roll and have attented more than 300 concerts since 1972.....Favorite singers are Terri Nunn of Berlin and Patti Smyth (not do they share the same birth date (26 June) [Patti is four years older than Terri], but I've met Patti once at her house when she lived in Topanga and I've met Terri six times after concerts over the past three years. I've given Terri several pictures I've taken of her and printed out on canvas.....All for now.....My ISP wants to kick me off the net.......  [6/28/01]
