UC Santa Barbara, BS 1966; Peace Corps, Palau Micronesia 66-68; married Jean Waring who also was volunteer in Palau who was originally from Glendale; started family while working for Centinela Valley YMCA then Long Beach Y (Lakewood) to 1976 then worked for a Yokkaichi YMCA in Japan and came back to Sebastopol, CA where Peter Boal our youngest was born in 1979. Been here ever since as Financial Representative of Northwestern Mutual Life. Parents both gone now, but the Boal tribe continues to make noise. John (class of 1958 is still in Upland); Judy (class of 1960 lives still in Livermore); twin Jerry lives up in Albany, Oregon. I still enjoy community activities: Active in Sebastopol Rotary Club; Active Board of Directors of Sonoma County Family YMCA; Active Board on Board of Directors of Blood Bank of the Redwoods. Jeannie and I are expectant grandparents (Peter and wife Lisa Chen live in La Jolla). Daughter Alicia is married and lives in Oakland. Son Michael lives here in Sonoma County. Hobbies are keeping up (as in get up in the morning) and fit so I swim regulary. Getting back to photography that was bug I caught in tropics of Palau. Great to get reconnected to Lancers of the past.  [4/11/08]
