I have sad news for all of my LHS school mates: Our dear and beautiful class of 1962 classmate Pat Schmidt Cochoit has passed away after several months of illnesses that her body did not have the strength to fight off. She struggled quietly with MS for many, many years, and she never let it get her down nor alter the joy she found in life. She has been my hero and role model and I will miss her. Tremendously.  Another Angel has gone home.
Here are the memorial arrangements that her loving husband Jules sent to me:
"The Memorial Service will be at University Christian Church, 5831 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, 90045 on Saturday, Dec. 17, at noon.
We will have a repast provided by the church ladies. If you have any pictures you would like displayed, please bring them early or mail them.
We will be scattering the ashes at sea on January 7, Saturday. I expect this to be mainly relatives, but if you are really interested, please e-mail me. The boat is the Neptune II out of Long Beach."
