Bowles, Jerry Lewis A piping engineer/designer with Ford Bacon & Davis Engineers and a resident of Gonzales, he died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, in Gonzales. He was 58, a native of Sacramento, Calif., and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Memorial gathering at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 9:30 a.m. until memorial service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Kirk John. He is survived by his wife, Junko Yoshiyuki Bowles of Gonzales; two daughters, Christie Chafin of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Annie Bowles of Gonzales; son, Charley Bowles of Gonzales; two sisters, Judy Cleveland of Lakeland, Fla., and Betsy Englert of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Jim Bowles of Van Nuys, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Audrey, Tracey and Colton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max Bowles and Vera Grace Blevins.
