I am filled with sadness as I write this - today at 1:11pm, Ken Applegate passed away. He was the best brother?? Ken passed peacefully at Havasu Regional Medical Center - he was on the phone listening to his daughter Andi telling him how much he is loved, that we will all be OK, and that it's OK to let go...and he did. He died of complications of the lung - it was hard for him to breath. After his doctor visit to Tuscon last month, he kept having one health issue after the other, and just didn't improve. Know that his wishes were not to be helped at the end....it was what he wanted. He loved Andi and his son Kirk. He enjoyed laughing and boating with friends, dancing, sports, playing cribbage, and women (maybe not in that order. He will be spending eternity on the river - where was happiest. May you rest easy now, my brother.

I lost my Dad today...so grateful I was able to be on the phone with him as he took his last breath...he's not in pain anymore and I'm sure he's hitting on a hot blond up there...? you Dad
