IN MEMORY    July 10, 1949 - May 25, 2019

I learned a dear  person, Margo L Jurado born July10, 1949 – May 25, 2019.

Margo was a kind friend and had such a gift with words, stories and poetry. Her last poem was:
Don’t weep at my grave,
For I am not there.
I have a date with a butterfly,
To dance in the air.
I’ll be singing in the sunshine.
Wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind
While I’m waiting for thee.

Rest my sweet friend, until we meet again.

*****

On Saturday May 25th we lost Margo Jurado. A mom to some, a sister to others, the cool sarcastic aunt, and grandma to those select few special people. She was a friend to many but she was more than any title. Margo was the person that made you smile and laugh when you needed it most. She was the person to give it to you straight when you needed that too. Margo was so much to so many people.

We lost her much too soon. A person we thought would somehow outlive us all with her quick wit alone. When you needed someone to talk to late at night, she was there. She'd always answer her phone even when she was busy to say she'd call you later. That's the kind of person she was.

We are setting up this fund to help with the cost of her memorial service and burial.

Margo's service will be on June 12th. The viewing is from 9-11am followed by mass at 11-12pm and burial at 12-1pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.

All funds that are collected will be completely used to cover the costs of the burial services and reception.

We appreciate any help you can provide during this time. If Margo were with us, she'd tell us none of this was necessary but anybody who knows her knows that she is worth this and so much more.
