I went straight to USC out of high school and spent the next seven years getting BS and Pharm.D degrees. I then spent the next twenty-odd years working for Thrifty Drug in its various incarnations before realizing that I couldn't do that until I retired. Went back to school at 41 and got my MLIS from San José State University in 1998. I worked as a hospital librarian and as an academic library director before landing my present job as an indexer for CINAHL Information Systems in Glendale. This is my dream job: I get paid to sit and read nursing/allied health journals all day! :) I married Jerry Hollombe in June of 2000 (but kept my maiden name). No children -- just a cat who is my furbaby. I'd love to hear from anyone in the classes of '70 and/or '71 who remembers me [7/20/08] |
