I have been living in the city of Wheaton, IL since 1991. I attended our 25th reunion with my wife of 18 years, Donna.  I am the Training Officer for the Wheaton Police Department Auxiliary Unit.  I have been with the police department since 1996. I have eight children and 12 grand-children.  I have a 6th grader and an 11th grader still at home as of this update on 9/08.  I only feel old when I hear the band REM or Pearl Jam on the "oldies" station, or when "retro" programing and styles are all the rage when refering to the 70's. dnr1990@comcast.net is my email, get back in touch!  Ron  [9/8/08]

I went to Cal State Dominguez Hills for one year then enlisted in the Air Force. I wanted to be a Special Forces Para-Rescue in Vietnam. They ended the Vietnam War 4 days after I entered Basic Training.I served 4 years at Vandenberg AFB near Lompoc, CA. I married in 1976 and had 4 children while in the service. I was divorced in 1983. I went to El Camino to earn my AS in Administration of Justice class of 1985.I remarried in 1987 and lived in San Pedro while I worked at Hughes Aircraft Company in Security and earned my Criminal Justice BS from CSU Long Beach, class of 1988. Oops,divorced again in 1989 with a daughter to show for it. Remarried in 1990, and still together(whew). We moved to Chicago in 1991 and are still here where my wife works as Vice President and Managing Director of Emerging Markets and Foreign Currency Exchange for the Bank of Montreal.  I work as Mr. Mom, operate my own hair salon and work as a part-time police officer for the City of Wheaton. I am CubMaster to 98 cub scouts and Assistant Scout Master to 76 Boy Scouts. We have 2 boys and a daughter. Our daughter came to us from China 3 years ago 6/14/99 when she was but 1 year old.  I have in total 8 children and 3 grand children.  That is my so-called life in a nutshell.  A very small nutshell.
