My fellow Lancers. We lost a beautiful human being last night. Some of you know her as Paula Clay, or Paula Smith, or as a Lennox Lancer or sister, mom, aunt... I knew her as Pokey. She was my best friend since the day we met and we wore the same dress to school (big no no even then)... we were in kindergarten. She pushed me in a puddle for it (although I swore for 55 years it was a pond). We learned to ride bikes together, tease boys (Dino Perry), and like boys together (don't worry, Paula's Dad in heaven, much, much later). We learned to drive together. We shared secrets, forks, clothes, and hair disasters. I will miss her like no other.

I left lennox High in 1975 Raised in Lennox since 1964 went to hawthorne in 75 married in 76 and moved to florida married 3 times 2 kids 16 and 5 now single and love it I am now in child care and love my work.         [3/16/03]
