Carla Jo Muse, AKA LA Smiley, is numbrr 5 of 7 sisters who are Donna, Cindy, Janice '77, Terri who preceded in death, Brenda, and Sharon.

She was born in Shreveport, Lousiana and raised in Lennox, California. Carla's parents were Earl and Lois Muse who also preceded her in death.

Her children are: Jose, Christina, and Carlos. Her grandchildren are: Fidel, Pricilla, Julian, Jordan, and Eli. Carla has several nieces and nephews, too many to name.

She worked for the Hermosa Valley School District for over 23 years. She enjoyed thrift shopping, upcycling, gardening, making jewelry, remodeling, painting, knitting, baking, cooking, music, dancing, and spending time with her grandkids.

Carla resided in Huntington Park, California for over 43 years. She passed on March 10, 2023 in the city of Norwalk due to complications caused by a stroke. She fought for almost a year. She will be dearly missed by those who love her.
